The repository contains the source code, as well as test suites for all the components. Problem Statement: A musical performance is primarily composed of a sequence of discrete components. Each component is composed of a segment which is interpreted as a note or harmonic on the scale, and a direction (forward or backward in pitch) which defines the direction of the melodic movement. This way, the interpretation of an instrument as a sequence of discrete sounds is based on the interpretation of the components. Contribute: The JComposer project is an open source project, though it requires a Java 5+ compiler with the JDK 1.5+ class library. If you are not a Java developer, you can still make a contribution to the project. JComposer is written in Scala, a recent and cutting-edge object-oriented scripting language. Scala is open source as well. History: The first version of JComposer was released in February 2010, and can be downloaded from SourceForge.com. The current version is based on the Scala language, and incorporates the Scala functionality into JComposer. Why JComposer? 1. MIDI driven music generation with synthesis and sampling 2. Play keyboard chords, define the chord path, and use the chords for melodic sequences. 3. Use presets to drive the instrument 4. Fast rendering 5. Complete Java Based 6. Has Java APIs 7. Complete automation 8. Great documentation for learning 9. Supports midi time and chord information 10. Supports multi-lane instruments 11. Has built-in synthesis 12. I guess I'll go to bed. The strangest thing ever happened today. I was working on the jigsaw puzzle with my mom. I was trying to make some really nice shapes of animals in the background. There was snow, there was sparkles, I even made a ball or two in the lower left. My mom pointed it out to me, and said, you made a wheel! WHAT?!? She was excited for me. Then I had to look, and indeed, there was one. Awesome! I asked my mom for the name. Santa Claus. It's so simple, so not about the suprising thing. But it is! It's right before Christmas. I can't believe how simple it is, but it makes me go "Ohhhh". Friday, December 18, 2012 Mon Dec 22 12:52PM I go up to the front of the house, near the street. I like to see the people who I haven't seen in a while. Sometimes, when I walk I get confused about where I'm going. Today I met a guy. He was sweet. He said he saw me coming and was leaving, so I was confused! I ended up walking all the way to the mall! I mean... I had my GPS to tell me which way to go, but I was still confused! I was walking right across the room. I thought I was... the other way. But it's ok, it's ok. I remember when the sun used to be out, like at the beginning of the year. I would walk by the trees, and they would be all green. I miss that. Friday, December 11, 2012 Mon Dec 22 11:51AM I got out of bed this morning to go to the bathroom. I only took two steps and I lost my balance and fell backwards. I hit my head against the wall and still had to make a mess in the bathroom.
